This morning started out like so many that we have had here in Northeast Ohio-- CHILLY! After getting some work done and taking the dog for a walk, something altogether strange happened... the sun came out!
Wonderful! Wonderful!
Though our grapevines seem to have survived our very chilly and wet spring thus far, I wondered how much more stamina they may have in them. The herbs are thriving and the garden certainly needs tilled and planted, but there was little that could be accomplished in light of the weather.
Sometimes it seems that Mother Nature reminds us that we simply cannot control everything.
Handy notion, just days before Mother's Day.
With a warmer change in sight, my hopes are lifting! I know that as warmer weather approaches, so also does the summer. And this summer, our very special 'crop' will be 'harvested'!
Dewy and sunny, I have decided to take my yoga mat to the deck for some fresh air and deep stretching of these growing preggo hips.
Hopefully you will have an opportunity to soak up some of what Akron has to offer today, as well!
Finally, faithfully, with much joy I say to you Rubber City folks....
